Why Your Payslip Can Differ
- You get a bonus, arrears or a raise partway through the year, so the employer recalculates the rest of the year.
- You joined or left a job during the year.
- You claim tax credits, for example on Zakat paid, approved pension fund contributions or donations.
- You have other income, such as rent or business income, which can change whether you count as salaried.
